Our look
If you've checked out our previous post, you already know the story behind our name, Curious Orange. But what about our visual identity?
Well, we wanted something that reflected the name, our personalities and our approach to work – expert and concise but not afraid to colour outside the lines if needed. So we puzzled over how to convey that in a way that’s simple yet compelling enough to draw the eye.
Honestly? We went back and forth until we were seeing oranges in our sleep. It took a while. There were plenty of ideas but nothing felt quite right. Until one morning in a Dublin cafe it suddenly did when we hit on what became an early version of our logo. It wasn't perfect, but it had potential. It had that same spark as the name and we knew we could build on it. And the best part was, it wasn’t a compromise, we were unanimously excited.
For us, it really hit home that you don’t have to compromise to find a solution. You just need to keep working until it’s right – which is how we approach our everyday work. And while our brand has evolved from that initial idea – it’s still in its infancy and we're excited to see how our visual identity grows with us.
